The Festival of Instant Choreography has opened a call for suggestions to their program in 2017. The festival will be held for the first time on 21.-23.4. in Höyhentämö, Helsinki. The festival is seeking light-structured performances with accompanying workshops. You can also apply with just a workshop, a demo of a work-in-progress, or with something completely different (related to the subject). The festival offers a venue, technical resources and a performance fee. As you are making your application, please pay attention to Höyhentämö’s spatial and technical restrictions. The applications must include the following information (adapted as necessary):
– Title and maker(s) of the piece
– Description of the piece, information on the premiere and past performances
– Number of people attending the festival and their job descriptions
– The artist’s/working group’s CV(s)
– Duration of the performance
– Technical needs
– Estimation of the set up and unloading times
– A link to the documentation of the piece
– Other material (trailers, pictures, texts)
– Workshop proposal, duration and content
– Anything else worth mentioning
– Contact person’s information (name, email, phone number)
