Hunter-gatherers

Accessibility

The world of the Hunter-gatherers looks like and is shaped by the people currently in it. It adapts to each person’s needs and way of being. It is open to everyone, and we try to make it accessible to as many people as possible.

You can participate in different ways depending on your interests, resources and schedule: you can take a brief look or really dig into it, you can take part remotely or join us on location. You are free to create your own way to be a Hunter-gatherer.

We will try to take into account the different stages of life people are in. We are especially invested in giving children and families the opportunity to participate, and there is a person on the team who focuses on children’s participation.

We strive to create an atmosphere where people can feel safe and comfortable, and a culture that is conversational, sincere and confidential. We will always try to keep in mind people’s needs and wishes and how we can support each other. When you participate, do it in a way that suits your own resources and life situation, and remember that you can always leave or ask for help.

The camp site is accessible by a gravel road and it’s possible to get around in the vicinity on asphalt and gravel. You can park your car  nearby. The camp can be modified to fit different people’s individual needs.

If there’s something that you’re unsure about, for example if you feel that you might need special arrangements, please contact us and we will see how we can make your participation possible.
